MBNA - 9 months with fee

Just perusing MBNA's cards, I now see that they are more-or-less all "0% for 9 months" with a 2% fee min £3 and max £50. The exception was Alliance and Leicester card, which offers the same with a £35 max fee [Virgin is now £50 max acc. to summary box]

The 'APRs' thus work out at:

A&L - Max £35
Amount borrowed.....Rate
£1750....................2.66%
£2500....................1.86%
£3000....................1.56%
£4000....................1.16%
£5000....................0.94%

Other MBNA - Max £50
Amount borrowed.....Rate
£2500....................2.66%
£3000....................2.28%
£4000....................1.65%
£5000....................1.34%
£6000....................1.11%

(The starting amounts above are chosen for being where the 2% fee 'caps' out in each case - that's why you get '2.66%' for both - because that is "2% over nine months" expressed annually. As additional amounts are fee free - on any single transfer, the annual rate comes down steadily thereafer)

Hope that helps
