Car insurance question

I am due to come off a 18 month driving ban at the end of the year, when the ban is lifted it will of been 3 years since i passed my test, so when answering insurance questions have i had my licence for 3 years or 18 months??

    If you have not had to re-take your test then it is from when you originally obtained your full licence. However if you had to re-take your test it would be the date you passed the re-take.
