Extension Costs

Good afternoon - apologies if this is a finger in the air question!

I am looking at purchasing a house that has an old conservatory on it, brick based for about a foot but then pvc roof and windows. I would like to change to a brick and pitched roof (cold in winter hot in summer problems)

No facilitates would be going in other than electrics (waste / water etc)
The footprint of 4mx3m will remain the same.

Would anyone be able to provide a ball park figure for a brick and window with pitched roof quote?

It needs proper footings, not just adding to if it's to become a proper extension.

Using exactly the same footprint might mean the existing ones have to come out.

Budget is going to vary depending on what you do and where you do it, but it will start at around £20k.

  • I have been looking for a new conservatory myself, and I found a great site that breaks down all the costs! I got my quote through them!

They put me in touch with 4 local installers in my area and I got each to come out and price it up properly for me but this was a great/accurate initial guide:
