No Craft Spending in 2020 - I will bust my stash this year!!!

  • I feel I'm falling way behind - I have made up the waistcoat toile and cut out a jersey top, but we decided to buy a new bed - and whilst we're emptying the bedroom, we might as well buy a new carpet. Which means I have spent most of last weekend and this week clearing out the tonnes of stuff in our bedroom.

On the plus side, I have donated an Imelda-Marcos sized mountain of shoes to the charity shop - as well as enough books to stock a smallish library.

I've got 2 to add to my total.

3D printed a new penpot for my desk at work, as my old one had broken.
Also painted one of the tile blanks I've got.
No photos at the moment, as penpot is at work and tile will look better after it's been fired.

    4/52 now

  • Have finished the sweat top I was sewing, bit of cheat as I did start it last year and made two cards so that's 3 of my 52. Am currently altering the dress I bought in the sale last year and then never wore to see if it feels better whilst washing some fabric ready to make a pair of PJ bottoms and another sweatshirt. Feeling proud as went to Hobbycraft yesterday and managed to leave with just the thread I went for:j:j:j. Well done to everyone who's powering ahead

    Yay Craftingmad, you're getting there!!

I've just finished two more trauma blankets that I knitted yesterday, both decorated and sewn up now.

Might have a rest from them tonight and do something else instead, I've got enough to choose from!!!

    Total 19/100

    Thanksloopychriss.

You definitely deserve a rest you are whizzing through those trauma blankets :T:T:T

Don't feel bad wraithlady - the whole purpose of this challenge is that we set out own targets (which are never set in stone) and go at our own pace. :D:D:D

You emptying your bedroom is a fantastic thing to do and will make you feel so much better plus a charity is benefiting from your generousity. I would say you have achieved far more than I have so well done you :T:T:T

It was my Christmas present about 4 years ago. I really don't use it as much as I should, so my challenge is as much about using the equipment I have as well as using my stash of craft stuff.

    Hi all -

I’d love to sign up again.

My aim is 400 for the year again. Didn’t manage it last year but I’m hoping to this year.

I’ve manage three today. Fixed a table which did require a £4 spend on wood filler - but I love that table and it’s well worth fixing. used up some screws I had knocking about. I need to sort out some other stuff I took off the table too.
