Removing a CCJ?

Hi all,

Ive been trying to improve my credit score. Ive had a DRO which has finally just come off but a CCJ from 2 years ago is still on there. Its from a payday loan from lending stream but it was sold on to a debt collection agency. I have recently won a case against them for impropper lending and the loan which i got the ccj for was one of the ones that i was given the interest back for. I was wondering if i could get the CCJ removed as Lending stream removed all the other loans from my credit file but as it was sold onto a 3rd party they cannot remove the CCJ.

Can they be removed or would i be wasting my time trying?

Thanks

Probably not, at least one of the loans was responsible lending, in all likelihood.
  • if the case was over ruled by the financial ombudsman as well as removing others from your credit file , it "should" have also included that lending stream recall or buy back any loans that were disputed and won with help from them

    That's not how things work.

The FOS doesn't "overrule" anything, but a court can overrule the FOS decision if the claimant goes that far.
