PIP forms, no letter of receipt

With PIP previous PIP forms, I sent them and less than a week later I received a letter saying they had my forms and were looking at the information and contacting my GP for more information.

I sent off my review forms and they arrived on December 14th and I know they arrived and were signed for, however I haven't received anything to say they have them or are looking at them.

Is there any time frame on this, I guess there will be delays due to the holiday period.

    I have had the same. Sent my review form back in November and still not heard anything.

    I sent my daughters review forms back beginning of December and i didn't receive a text message either to say they received them. I know they did because i rang to check. If they hadn't received them then your PIP would have stopped. There's no timescales for the review process.



    Just so you know, they very rarely contact anyone for any evidence. The onus is always on the claimant to make sure it's sent to support their claim.

    Maybe they're a bit slower off the mark due to the end of the year/Christmas holidays?!

    I always provide a lot of evidence that proves as much as I can, but that has been a letter I have received in the past, saying they were contacting my GP, I don't believe they did contact them, so perhaps it was a template letter they sent out?

    They do sometimes contact GPs for information. I have seen this in appeal paperwork.
    Information I post is for England unless otherwise stated. Some rules may be different in other parts of UK.

    I've still had nothing back from them a month after they have received the forms.

    Me either and i returned my daughters review forms in the beginning of November. If you're still receiving your payments then i wouldn't worry. If they hadn't received the forms then your money would have stopped. There's nothing you can do in the meantime. Most have face to face assessments so expect that.

    Same, no text or letter of confirmation. I had to phone in the end because I had the letter to say that the deadline was nearly up and they hadn't received my review form.

    It turned out the letter had just crossed over with the receipt of my form and everything was fine.

    i won my pip appeal on 5th of December 2018 which was award backdated to 6th Feb 2018. I have still not had any paperwork. This is now affecting my housing and council tax benefit, and universal credits. which i was forced to claim in august 2018 by my council after moving out of ex's house which i had housing benefit as he moved out until i got myself and kids re homed. (lower rate of mobility pip at that time) i lost my disability premium that i had been awarded on top of JSA. Nobody seemed t know anything at job centre when i constantly asked for information or support during this process. I feel that i am constantly being messed about by benefits office and local council with vague no real answers responses.I do however have a great team of support from financial inclusion officer and specialist employability support worker who has spent more time fighting for me to get information which they find as difficult as i had for the years previous trying on my own. Just so i can try and fight the fact that i am facing my recent disability which will only continue to get worse and has been difficult coming to terms with i am no longer who i was before.(sounds stupid i know) without any of the financial issues on top. I continue to be financially worse off at every opportunity with no real hope of being on top of it all than helping me find employment and im so glad i would never have managed to even get to this point in trying to rebuild my life with my sons. sorry about the rant. i am aware I'm probably luckier than most though as some people have no support at all. and I have awesome supportive kids who are very supportive and quite honestly i am so proud of the gentlemen they are becoming despite the issues we face at least we face them together. x L x
