You also have to remember that as we age our skin changes and for some people the fragrance that sat on us beautifully a few years ago will smell vile now.

your spot on there. I remember my rather posh mother in law going to harrods and buying her rather expensive perfume shed worn years ago

we were all sniffing and saying

"eeewww whats the smell? Its like rotting oranges"

we were dead popular I can tell you

    Ordered 2 x 100ml Burberry London from Dutyfreeperfumes - for just £19.35 each - normally over £40
Fine they are testers and although are boxed do not have a lid but perfect at the price for the dressing table.

Free postage - arrived within 2 days and i swear it is stronger than my previous bottle - Sometimes the manu. make the testers stronger so that they last longer when you sample them in the shops.

I used https://www.supaperfume.com to order some Gucci Rush for my ladeee- 50ml was £22.99 which is extremely good value (I did a lot of surfing around for the best deal).

It was delivered exactly 2 days after I ordered it - which is darn fast - and it was sent by Recorded Delivery (no postage charge!).

    Excellent service! :)

I agree, just checked out Sunflowers from Arden at the perfume shop and it goes for £9.99. halfprice perfumes is charging £11.95 for the same thing!

Even the postage is cheaper at the perfume shop!!!
    £1.45 vs. £3.95

Clearly getting the stuff from Perfume shop makes sense and if you want to save on the postage, just pop into one of their outlets!
    My reality check bounced.

Looks like fragrancedirect is down this morning (or gone! ??? )

If you tried Martin's link in the top post then there is a slight typo in there - 'fraNgrance'

Try this link for Fragrance Direct, I've ordered Hugo Boss Deep Red from them last weekend & it arrived during the week - fantastic price tester (which doesn't bother me as it saved me £5 on a 'proper' bottle ;D )
Sad because you don't know what to do? Comping question? Take a look in the Comping Guide to find out
  • I was very impressed with the service from:

    https://www.escentual.co.uk

The price of the item I wanted was very competitive and the communications and delivery times were excellent.

It was the genuine article, boxed and sealed.

I have used strawberrynet.com in the past and I was charged Customs Duty. When I sent them a copy of the duty charged (taken from the parcel) they immediately credited my card with the full amount of the duty. I have done this three times with no problems.
Also each time you order from them you get another 1% off your order. :o
    Born to shop;)
