Thanks for the suggestion about reduced fat cheese, Shaggy. I'll give it another go, but all the ones I've tried in the past had a rubbery texture which isn't what I'm after at all!

The test will be tomorrow, when I get back from my voluntary thing early afternoon, knowing that there are four (or possibly even five) chocolate digestives in the biscuit tin left over from a packet ....

There were four and they didn't last long after that post. *sigh* Yesterday afternoon when I got back from the voluntary thing I remembered I had half a bar of chocolate stashed. That's better than a whole bar, right?

Feeling this pain at the moment! Change of diet is really clogging things up!

There are two things that work for me, four dried figs a day (Morrisons does an own brand type, sort of semi-dry, that I really like, or fresh cherries (tinned or frozen don't work). As the cherry season is relatively short, I tend to rely on figs. It may not be easy to fit it into a Slimming World plan though because obviously being dried fruit, they're high in sugar. Prunes, obviously, or any other plums, should do the trick.

    I feel your pain.

Hugely well done on the 10% loss. That's really impressive.

It seems I spoke too soon yesterday - travelling for work and I succumbed to a drink to accompany my lonely pub dinner :o. It was only one, but I'm still cross with myself. Not being in my usual routine does not help with MSEness - has a few unnecessary spends too.

Any change in routine is a risk, so I tend to plan for it now, a sort of 'fail to safety' mindset. If you know you're going to be eating alone in public I would have thought that's a very tricky thing to feel confident and good about unless you have a strategy for dealing with it. I take a book, and then get so engrossed in it that I forget about where I am.

    12/31 please, Shaggy.
    Better is good enough.

What do we do when we fall? We get up, dust ourselves off and start walking in the right direction again. Perhaps when we fall, it is easy to forget there are people along the way who help us stand and walk with us as we get back on track.
