I cracked! I bought Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Parts 1 & 2 for a tenner. How could I say no, as I've been watching the other ones since I moved into my flat? I have also watched Zac and Miri Make a Porno and Don't Mess with the Zohan as they were both on the TV and I was in front of it.. ;) I wouldn't really recommend either for repeat viewing, but Zohan was funnier.

I'm sure I've watched a few others as well, but I can't remember what. I'll let you know when I do.

Also, have a great start to 2013 everybody!:D

  • I was very good last night. I had 3 films in my Amazon basket and I took them all out before I paid :) Still need to count up the ones I haven't watched yet and I did cave a little and bought some festive ones just before Christmas (they were NEEDED though...Elf, and The Snowman are both films for every festive collection!)

Well done you :T Feels good when you do that - feel like you're winning!

I was given The Amazing Spider-Man for Christmas, which I can't wait to watch and was always going to be a new one into my collection but apart from that I don't think there has been any more "ins" despite going into HMV twice in the last couple of weeks! :D

  • I'm going to have a count up this weekend and see just how many DVDs I have to watch. I still would like to add Big Bang Theory Season 5 to my collection but it's not long until my birthday so I'm going to wait and ask my mum for it I think. I also have a pile of DVDs I'll probably never watch again which I can attempt to liberate to stop it gathering dust in my bedroom! I'm currently working my way through season 9 of CSI which I've had for ages but never quite managed to watch all the episodes!

  • Watched The Amazing Spider Man last week - one of my xmas presents. Really enjoyed it. Bit darker than the previous trilogy (a bit like what they've done with Batman in the newest films) and thought the actors were brilliant.

uhoh! I've counted up and have 51 DVDs/Boxsets I have never watched...didn't realise it was quite that many! And that's all assuming I don't have any anywhere else in the house. Some of them have up to 6 DVDS so it could take a while to get through them all!

UU: Gavin & Stacy. Season 1: I never managed to watch more than 5 minutes of this when it was on TV, so this was a lend from a friend. It was good fun and made me laugh (and even cry in places). Roll on season two!

I watched Good Luck Chuck last night. It's from my Lovefilm rental list though so doesn't really count. I LOVE it though because it has lots of penguins in!! Won't be watching any until Wednesday now as I'm staying at OH's for a couple of nights.

  • An unexpected day off on Monday because of snow so I watched one of my unwatched DVDs - Heathers. It was a bit weird and I'm not sure I'd watch it again but it was ok to pass the time.

i have so failed with this challenge, well its more my DH he hoards dvds he hasnt even got round to admitting the videos are useless so we still have all of those as well.
problem he he buys them cheap at the carboot through the summer but then we never get time to watch them so they pile up and up.
i have managed to convince hime that we need to get rid of some. new rule is if its one we will never watch again then it gets passed on, either to a friend, relly or charity shop
over the past 2 weeks weve thankfully watched 4 such films
wrecked - guy wakes up in a car wreck cant remember who he is or why hes there it takes the whole film to work it out with flash backs etc, by the end i really couldnt care less.
Hordeszombies on speed attacking people but the peolpe arent really that nice and theres no one in the whole film i actually hoped would survive
millers crossing quite arty 30s gangster film, ok but a one watch for me and luckily DH
Hannayoung woman with a secret people out to kill her, quite violent and rather distasteful in places.

ive also managed to give a few duplicates away, gave mum a spare copy of its a wonderful life at christmas and she said it was brilliant on saturday she had a snow day snuggled up on the settee with hot chocolate watching it.

    will try harder honestly
