Just answered my own question by looking up the T&C's. You can only have one synced card per four square account.

So I will have to create some more four square accounts. I think that it is per card rather than per amex account. Not sure though on the four square one. It is definitely the case on the amex shop local £5 cashback though. Me and the wife have both had the cashback from the same shop.

Hi miketaff, have you set up more accounts for the other cards ?
Like you , I have MBNA and plat, and wife has same.
On the amex £5 cashback, which I have hammered successfully 16 times so far, another 6 tonight hopefully.
MBNA only allows me one card because the numbers are the same on mine and wifes.same account.
Amex plat are different numbers, so can use both, same account though.
Want to use Harvey nicks, or wife does, as Leeds have one, on the foursquare deal.Any advice would be grateful , never used it before, haven,t synced any cards yet, don,t want to conflict with the £5 deal.:beer:

mike, been reading back threads on foursquare,seems it only applies to people with an I-phone.
These were on in june, don,t know if they still are?
my wife uses primark a lot, she says they don,t take amex ?

American Express cardholders with a smartphone can get discounts at restaurants such as Pizza Express and major retailers including Tesco via the Foursquare app.

They can net some decent bargains such as £10 off a £10+ spend at Nando's, but only on one-off spends.

Offers can also be used with discount vouchers or in a sale. So it's possible to use a 2-for-1 voucher in a restaurant and the app-based deal, as long as you meet the full criteria.

Anyone with an Amex card where the logo is on a blue background qualifies, which is any personal credit card (including Lloyds TSB, MBNA and Virgin-issued cards), but not corporate or prepaid cards.

The Foursquare app is available free on iPhone, Android, Blackberry, Windows, Palm and Ovi Nokia.

You can redeem each of the following deals once.

Restaurants:

Nando's. Spend over £10 and get a £10 credit
Bella Italia. Spend over £10 and get a £10 credit
Caf! Rouge. Spend over £10 and get a £10 credit
Strada. Spend over £10 and get a £10 credit
Pizza Express. Spend over £10 and get a £10 credit
Eat. Spend over £5 and get a £5 credit
Shops:

House of Fraser. Spend over £10 and get a £10 credit
Tesco. Spend over £5 and get a £5 credit
Primark. Spend over £10 and get a £10 credit (excludes concession stores)
These are the first nine deals under the scheme, though more are planned.

Thanks mike. I will have to try and set wifes phone for app, never use it, just as ordinary phone. she,s 70 years old so ain,t too sure how it, works, just bought it.I,ve phoned amex, one fish/chips didn,t register, he,s ok 'd it.

My question is thus:

I originally used this back in the early summer when they had offers in Primark, Nandos, Tescos etc. Back then I was using an MBNA Amex. I now have a platinum cashback Amex. Can you Sync more than one card to the same foursquare account? When I try to add the card details to foursquare it just says "good news, account already synced". I am presuming this means the account is already synced to the MBNA card. So is there a way of adding the other cards? (Mrs Miketaff also has a card and so could add that card as well.) Or would I have to create three more foursquare accounts!!!!

(so that each of my 2 amex cards and the wife's will be synced.)

Going to London in a few weeks time so 4 x £25 in Harvey Nic's - thank you VERY much Amex!!!!

I'm making a 180 mile round trip on sunday to harvey nics , i've got 6 amex cards between me and hubby:D
