Just looking for a spare quiet table in the corner of the arms for a few exiled elite to chat, is this table free please?

I just spent over 2 hours balancing household accounts. Eyes hurting

'The ones I thought would be most difficult to balance are done now - rest can wait until either over the weekend or next week.

Listening to music with a glass of wine now.

PC Mo Rashad, from Cleveland Police, said: "Wow... a chief constable doing operational police work. Northants should be proud."

Or maybe evidence of a boss having to cover work due to the loss of frontline officers? Even after extra officers promised, and then that number only by about three years' time, the country still doesn't get back what it has lost. In at least two senses no less - the number not even cancelling out the cuts and lost the experienced officers we used to have. And as we've been promised (in 2015) 5,000 doctors by 2020 but are nowhere near that number at the end of 2019, the current promise on that stands no chance of being achieved, so a new 'roll-over' one of 6,000 by 2025 is there to be ignored - all the promises are meaningless anyway.

Cleveland itself is in rubbish - see the recent inspectorate report and, quite apart from that, unable to get officers out to places such as Hartlepool when resources taken up by an incident elsewhere as they have had to slash neighbourhood officers to the bone - not got enough officers to cover the county adequately now. It's one of the smallest geographical police areas in the country and it's officers can't get to incidents therefore relatively not that far away because when they are tied up on incidents in one town there aren't enough to cover elsewhere, due to the absolute thin blue line that it has become across the country. They are having real trouble the police services with the cuts they have had to suffer (as well as all parts of the public sector) and none of the promises, whilst welcomed, are correcting the cuts now.
