My Dad's pension - does he even have one? 10th Nov 19 at 2:17 PM
    Hello,

Sorry if this is a bit vague but I would like some advice about where I should go or who to talk to.

My Dad is a Greek national and is now living in Greece after spending a significant amount of time working in the UK.

I am wondering if he has any state pension entitlement after having paid tax and NI in the UK. How would I go about finding this out? All I have is his national insurance number.

Many thanks for any advice you can think of!

    Nik

Get your dad to write to DWP, not forgetting to quote his NI number.
Loose means not tight, Lose means something is lost, simples no?
Ignore me if you like, it's not the real me anyway.

I don't think he has ever touched a computer. Maybe I can try to do this for him.

I did this recently for a relative.
It did verify her electronically from her passport.
He might find it difficult to verify on line if he doesn’t have a driving licence, passport or similar.
