It seems that Amazon has started doing short-lived reductions on some kindle books which are down to 20p or so for around 24 hours. I have not had anything official about this, but just noticed them in the kindle books 'movers and shakers' list. Some have previously been posted in this forum by myself and other helpful people, but it would be handy to keep them in one place.

So please post any short-term bargains here.

Please don't post details of the (huge numbers) of self-published books that are at low prices long-term (usually 79p)or free books - just genuine short-lived bargains.

I tried this but I get "Your search did not match any products." - am I being silly?

You're not being silly.
The link I tried to give doesn't work.
Copy it, paste it into word or notepad and remove the return after the 8 then copy it again and it should be ok

Only threads I could find were individual postings of reductions by myself and others, several people had commented that it would be useful to combine into one thread so that is what I have done. Previous threads are now in the 'expired' place because these offers are short-lived, so I started a new one.

If you just check what the 20p book is every day here; https://play.google.com/store/books
and then search for the same book on Amazon it'll be 20p there too.

This is the link I check regularly. It has the top 100 paid - and more importantly the top 100 free.here

Was nt trying to take away from your post simply pointing out the offer has been on for a while, maybe why you have not been notified from Amazon. Here is an earlier thread http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.php?t=3636349&highlight=

Thanks for that link to my own thread from some time ago, but that is a totally different offer - the kindle daily deal - which is still ongoing and where a different book is offered at 99p every day. This thread is for the 20p super bargains that are not part of that deal.
