Tesco's where you can scan and shop have scales by the fruit and veg - I often use it to check the price of veg I have picked myself.
A while ago I bought some pre packed rhubarb from Aldi. The difference in the amount of rhubarb in each was very obvious - a bit of a rummage and I walked away with a pack twice the size of the original one I picked upMay spend - £291.40/£320.00
June spend - £106.40/£320.000 -

It's good when you can tell by looking. It's often the case with broccoli.
Soon we'll be taking scales to the shop with us! :rotfl:0 -

I have actually done that before, to Sainsbury's for a particular cheese I bought after CS told me they had a 'tolerance' - I complained after multiple times I'd bought low weight IMO (now buy elsewhere as more consistent with weight).
Also used to take my folding step to reach the top shelf when a product I frequently bought was often not easily reachable when it was pushed back!
add those to my re usable bags and it was like going away for the weekend with all my shopping 'kit' lol!!0 -
My bold, I sometimes find half a carrot bunged in the prepack, as a "make weight", which reinforces the point made, not going to give me whole small carrot "free" just a manky no use piece of carrot:(
I just used a 'manky no use piece of carrot' in a veg chilli this evenin..once peeled and grated it looked exactly the same as the 'non mankind useful whole carrot' also in the bag (I bought them in Aldi so no choice of loose or pre packed )Feb 2015 NSD Challenge 8/12JAN NSD 11/16
