Stocked up on all the Super 6 as the fruit was in good condition. First time the parrot will have had a papaya so hope he likes it. Pomegranates were huge, the size that is usually £1 each, hopefully they are red and juicy inside

Are the doughnut peaches any good? To me they have always been disappointing compared with normal peaches, which have been lovely lately.

I haven't bought any because I've always found this type of peach to be far too firm and lacking in juice. Not a fan of them at all.

Was in the Westcliff branch last Thursday and I didn't think much of them. To be honest never thought them to be any good in Aldi or Lidl for the reasons you quote.

Best flat peaches I ever had came from ironically Tesco.

On the plus side the cucumbers are a good size. So are the radishes.

Disappointing selection. Not worth going in to Aldi especially for any of that.

At least I know the parrot really likes papaya so will be looking out for them on offer in future. Pomegranates in the last offer were also nice and red and juicy. That was a very good week and will take some beating!
