Finally got round to cancelling some direct debits so that's £10.76 saved this month. The were all for little amounts so I kept saying I'd do it later because it wasn't like it was that much which is we all know is a load of old codswallop!

I think we are all guilty of this atti. Well done for dealing with it and putting some extra money in your pocket :T

£10 Club*ard vouchers from Mr T - i'm going to use them for groceries and pay £10 off a card :D

That's £22.98 of my £31 target which has more or less fallen into my lap, but I'm going to have to get more creative to keep it up (I've got £7.37 on the way from Zapper and about £19 worth of goods being checked at Ziffit, or the other way round, then that's the easy pickings over and up to me to find other ways of raising a bit extra!)

That’s a great start and looks like you will smash your target :j I will put up another ideas post in a bit and I am sure other challengers will have some creative ideas to keep you going.

I used a £30 gift card yesterday which came from TopCashback through Zeek and I took back two items last week for £20 refund so £50 to add taking me to £55.24. I am now transferring any money made to a separate account and using this to pay extra off credit cards. I was finding that before I started doing this the money would just disappear.

I also received a cheque this morning from the tax man which was a refund for my brother. Although the cheque is made out to me I will transfer the money to my parents when it clears so not counting it but still it was nice to get something from the tax man and it was over £500 so will be useful for my Mum and Dad

These days most people shop online at least occasionally so you may as well earn cashback for doing it!

If you don’t already have accounts with Quidco and TopCashback you can join up through the referral board on mse below

    https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/forumdisplay.php?f=42

These are the two biggest and best knowing cashback sites and tend to give the highest amounts. It is worth having accounts with both of them as they both have offers and some different merchants. It is worth remembering that cashback is not guaranteed and sometimes takes a long time to be paid.

Quidco and topcashback toolbar notifiers - a must have for those who forget to check for cashback when browsing online before buying.

    http://www.quidco.com/cashback-reminder

    http://www.topcashback.co.uk/cashback-notifier

MSE has a page explaining cashback sites below

    https://www.moneysavingexpert.com/shopping/cashback-websites/

Apart from the above there are other cashback sites although not as many as there used to be. Two other sites I can think of that offer cashback are Cashbackearners and Swagbucks. As there are other aspects to these sites I will do separate posts on them.

Finally, some high street banks offer cashback when using your credit or debit card. I know that Santanderand Barclays do this and Halifax definitely used to. There may be others so it is worth checking.

  • Well I'm stuck. My $30 payment from instagc still didnt show up in paypal. Queried it with insta who said I would need to take it up with paypal. Queried it with paypal who said I needed to get insta to contact them which I cant see them doing. There is no problem with my paypal account accepting payments.

How annoying. Do they have a Facebook page? I know Aesop always recommends posting problems on Facebook as they are then public and companies are usually quicker to sort them out.

I've sold a dress on ebay. I'm surprised cause I hadn't expected anything to happen there.

I'll add it once fees and postage are accounted for cause no idea what that's going to cost.
