Wonga Loan

I took out a wonga loan and was accepted for it but applied for a top up and after applying turns out wasnt required as family member sent me money so clicked off it without signing credit agreement so just means only have orginal amount will they still do credit check on the top up one even though didnt accept it? Worried that they do then affects credit rating for trying it as make me look desperate.

Not if you didn't apply.

Don't worry about your mythical credit rating. With a PDL in your file, mainstream lenders won't be touching you for a while.

Taking out a Wonga loan resets your credit score to -400 anyway

Wong's will (probably) have credit checked you when you applied for the top up not waited until you decided whether to accept the money or not.

You already have a Wonga loan on your credit files so you already look like a desperado to other lenders. If you need to resort to Wonga and family members perhaps it's time to head over to the Debt Free Wannabe board before your finances get any worse.

If you've been in a situation whereby you needed a Wonga loan, then you shouldn't really be bothering about what your credit file says.

By applying for a Wonga Loan you have shown you are in no fit financial state to be considering any financial product now or in the next couple of years.

You should spend the next two years trying to sort out overspending, getting yourself in a comfortable financial state and begin saving an amount each week so you don't find yourself in this situation again.
