So I currently have a CC with NewDay via Amazon.
I wanted to complete a balance transfer to Sainsbury’s, however after a successful application I find they do not offer transfers to newday with cards starting with the 6 digits mine started with. They couldn’t explain why...
So does anyone know what banks support balance transfers from NewDay Amazon?
So frustrating that this detail comes after application....

Can you let us know what the first 6 digits are?
This will not compromise the security of your card in any way.0 -
Too many uses of the word “to” here.
Balance transfer “to” Sainsbury’s
...
They don’t offer transfers “to” NewDay.
What are you transferring to where?0 -
Hi, thanks for quick reply, the first six are; 5368 390

I see your point on the “to” front.
With NewDay
Want to transfer to Sainsbury’s
They can’t pay off NewDay and take the balance.
All said without the use of “to” too much 0 -
Understood.
I think someone else posted similar a month or two back.0 -

I asked the question to make sure it was not a storecard type of card with a number commencing with 6.
This would appear to be a Mastercard. I can't offer any suggestion as to why this transfer should not be allowed.0 -
Does the Sainsbury's card also offer a money transfer option as well as a balance transfer? (many do) If so, do a money transfer to your current account and then pay off the New Day card from there0
