  • How annoying of Mr SA to kick off , I like the idea of giving him an itemised price list of everything from his pester list :rotfl:.

Have a relaxing evening after your long day :).

No he doesn't use the walking poles ES. And he struggles with the microwave.

He rang Motability, cancelled the scooter contract at a cost of £50 then hired a better scooter at £30 a month more. Not entirely on his own, it took 14 phone calls to me to ask what to say and the scooter place ringing me but he did it. Could do without the extra money to fork out but I admit the new scooter is much sturdier for his height/weight. Anyway it's done now.

Holiday tickets arrived today but had to book seats together on the plane at a cost of £52 in total (Jet2 did this for free in October). Holiday is through Villa Plus and we're flying with Thomas Cook. Can't believe two weeks today we'll be there.

So what with the above and spending £6.81 in Lidl, it's been quite a spendy day.

On the plus side it's AFD 2 and went to the gym at lunchtime. Still on a mission of using store cupboard items up and the final pouch of Mexican rice has gone.

I suppose at least the new scooter is a viable buy. As you say it's better for him physically and he will be using it every day, unlike some of the other "pester" things.

Shame about the extra costs on the air tickets but you must be counting the hours till you're off!

Store cupboard exercise has gone well!

The sturdier scooter has got to be better for him.
