    And travelling for almost 42 hours, assuming no delays on the outbound journey! Sometimes on very long haul flights, there are more important issues than the price...

    Why such a banal comment? I already stated that it may be for the cash strapped.
    Apart from that, some might prefer to break up an ordinarily 'very long haul' flight. So the overall travel time may be irrelevant.
    The reality is that it may suit some and be totally unsuitable for others.

    But this is a money saving website, so it would be ridiculous to not post it, in the case that money is more important than travel time to the potential traveller.

    Worth saving up an extra £300 and avoiding one of the worst airlines.

    China Airlines is the largest air carrier in China and is partially government owned. If you’re heading to China, chances are you’ll end up booked on a China Air flight. They fly to more than a hundred cities around the world, and is considered the 10th largest airline in the world! China Air also has one of the worst safety records of all the major airlines, with more than 30 catastrophic crashes and hundreds of minor accidents. Most of their pilots are well-trained and come from a military background, but it seems that the aircraft themselves are not well maintained, and the company tends to skimp on spending the money necessary to keep their fleet safe.
    From a list of the 10 best and 10 worst airlines.

    China Airlines(Taiwan) has nothing to do with Air China(PRC).....

    Really embarrassing for you that you chose that article as a source, as apart from your blunder, it appears that a drunkard has put it together; It is ridiculously inaccurate;
    China Airlines is the largest air carrier in China and is partially government owned...

    Really?

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_largest_airlines_in_Asia begs to differ.

    Air China, on the other hand, has had only one accident(in 2002) that resulted in fatalities in the whole of it's existence.

    This is why you shouldn't hitch your wagon to certain posters who only join a thread in order to post negativity.
