    Hi All,
Just bumping up the post for Car parking at Manchester airport?
    Recent recommendations? Who to avoid?
I'm thinking of official airport parking, I don't have a new car, but would like to keep my keys. Which Jetpark would you recommend? more or less all same price...….
Outbound flight is at 5am and return is midday Terminal 1. Cannot take the train as it doesn't match our outbound flight and taxi is out of the question as we are 2hours away.
    Thanks in Advance.

Free Parking near every Airport but at very low risk
    Hi all,

I thought I will add my two cents to this discussion about parking at airport .

I have been doing this trick for years now every time I have to travel overseas and it always worked for me, 100% so far. It's not without risk but the risk is very low. It takes a bit of research though but it's fairly straightforward.

I have done this for weekends get away, 1 week and even 3 weeks parking. They all worked every time.

IT IS AS SIMPLE AS PARKING IN A PUBLIC STREET NEAR THE AIRPORT.

I know, I know, some people are skeptical and feel uncomfortable about it but it's totally legal and free . Have you ever paid for free public parking when you go visit a friend? Have you ever paid for parking when you go to an office and there is a free spot in the public parking in that street? I don't think so.

So here is how I proceed.

    1. I search on the police website police. co. uk (sorry I'm not allowed to post links yet ) for the safest locations i.e. safest neighborhoods or safest public streets near airports. Usually I choose a spot 10 to 15 minutes away from the airport.

    2. I look on Google Street View to actually check the selected street. Bonus - I select several locations just in case I cannot park at my preferred one.

    3. On my travel date, I call a taxi or Uber to pick me up at my location at my chosen time. If it happens that my preferred spot is taken, I call again the taxi company to change my request, with no problem. A taxi is better than Uber as Uber may charge you for changing spot.

    4. I record the address on a parking app (or on paper) when I arrive at my preferred parking spot and wait for my taxi to arrive.

    5. And I go for my travel in peace. When I come back I take a taxi to pick up my car. That's it.

Since you have insurance, if anything happens (but it shouldn't since you picked the safest location), the insurance should take care of it.

Using this trick, I have never paid for parking at airports and never had any issues. So far I have parked near Heathrow, Gatwick, Southampton, Luton, and Manchester Airports. And it works. I have my preferred spots now where I always park when traveling overseas.

    Good luck everyone .

Official meet and greet is fine - tho more of a production line than at smaller airports. You don't get to keep your keys, but collect keys from desk in arrivals and then short walk to get your car from on-site multi storey. Would use again.

Hi, I've just booked Manchester airport T1 parking meet and greet and saved 11 by going to Holiday Extras through the money saving expert link rather than going independently to the site. Impressed and happy!
