BA Car Hire Florida - Insurance?

Have got a good deal with BA and hired a Mustang! _party_ (Class K)

However, I am a bit worried on the insurance front. Have copied and pasted the Rental Inclusions below. Does this mean I am now fully comp?

We land quite late at night and dont want to end up being hassled for hundreds of extra dollars in add on insurance when we land.

Anyone any advice on this? Thanks

Rental Inclusions
State SurchargeTire & Battery FeeVeh. License FeeThird Party Liability (TPL)Collision Damage Waiver (CDW)Unlimited Mileage

Please note that CDW may not be included for all car types, please check Inclusions before bookings.
CDW and TP are always subject to an excess which will be pre-authorised, but not debited, from the driver's credit card up on collection of the vehicle. In the event of any damage to the vehicle, the full value of the excess is charged to the credit card. Where the repair costs are less than the excess, the difference will be refunded. Excess amounts vary by rental location, please contact us for details.
Excess:
The car voucher shows what is included and not included in the rate. If CDW (or LDW in some countries) does not appear in the Inclusions section, it is NOT included. If you are unsure please contact us. Where prices do not include CDW the renter must either purchase CDW locally or provide proof of own coverage. The excess always applies and may be up to the full value of the car. A security fee may also apply and must be paid for locally. You may purchase additional insurance locally to reduce or remove the excess amount.
CDW Exclusions
CDW Exclusions do apply. Typically items such as tyres, glass, mirrors, roof and/or undercarriage are excluded from cover where damage is the result of a breach of rental terms. Please check your Rental Agreement for more information when collecting your vehicle.

"CDW may not be included for all car types, please check Inclusions before booking" Have you checked?

"If CDW (or LDW in some countries) does not appear in the Inclusions section, it is NOT included"
    Is it there?

"The excess always applies and may be up to the full value of the car......You may purchase additional insurance locally to reduce or remove the excess amount" Do you know what the excess is?

"A security fee may also apply and must be paid for locally" I don't know what that is.

Do you know which company they are using?

Booking is with Avis, That much I do know but you are right the BA booking is deliberately vague. Have checked the voucher, website, booking and no where does it state excess. BA helpline just stated it is determined by local supplier. They thought Security Fee wasnt applicable but again they were vague.

It does definatively state though inclusions as including CDW.

we have the same problem, booked the car hire with flights for August, just wondering if we need to take out extra insurance when we get there or is what comes with it sufficient?

Most (I think all, but cannot be 100% without fully checking) car hire in Florida has Zero excess. That is standard on Avis rentals in Florida too. Suggest that just to feel comfortable that you message or live chat Avis just to get their confirmation. It will be in your rental voucher and the confirmation from BA as well though.
