Anyone have the inside scoop on whether BOS are dropping the interest rate on their classic account?

I'd be amazed if it didn't drop but then why not announce it with the rest of the cuts?

They told me to keep quiet because they hadn't told anyone else yet, and now I find out you know too. How many others know?

My guess is 2% on £2k, 2 accounts max

I doubt they'll change it to 2% as they'll want differentiated products within LBG - 2% is what Club Lloyds will pay. For what it's worth I don't think they'll make any more changes (they've already added the direct debit requirement), other than perhaps restrict to one account per customer.
