Back of a fag packet calculation is you have used approx £240 worth in 110 days, which is over 3 and a half months.I m using 13.5 p kwh as a guess for the tariff and 20 p a day standing charge plus 5% vat.
works out something like £70 a month. That seems OK to me

    So 19 April to 7 Aug is 1675 units - about 14 weeks - 6200 units a year.

At about 12p (Bulb users could you provide an actual please) is £750 a year plus standing charge plus VAT is about £900 a year. Not extortionate fo all electric.

With so many estimates why are you not reading your meter ? (at least every month)
I just noticed you said all electric.. we have gas as well.. and gas bill was around 20 quid..

Are your lights on all the time, is your microwave plugged in all the time (they eat electricity, try unplugging it and see if that helps). Do you have storage heaters?

You are averaging 15 units a day, around twice the average for a gas heated property. How are you heating the water over summer ? Electric shower ?

Are you using an immersion heater rather than your gas boiler?

Water heating uses a gas boiler.. It's apparently a new one still under warranty..

microwave is plugged in all the time.. What sort of light should i get to save energy? I don't think the ones here are LED. All the lights seem very bright.. I was going to change the lights once i finished unpacking.. :(
