    Investing in a high risk fund for 1-2 years is not a sensible thing to do. The volatility associated with high risk funds means you could up with double your investment or end up with fraction of the amount you invest. Over the longer term, the risk goes down.

    Usually with high risk funds, you only know the best areas after the growth has already been achieved.

    Any fund supermarket (selestia, cofunds, fundsnetwork for example) will get your money to you in 1-3 weeks after receiving your request.
