Pay ALL your debt off by Xmas 2018 4th Dec 17 at 4:17 AM
Welcome to PART 1 OF Pay ALL Your Debt Off By Xmas 2018!

Firstly I would like to welcome all new and existing members from last years thread.

Anyone is welcome to join this challenge and it is NEVER too late. There is also no amount of money too small or too large that will stop you from joining this challenge. We have several members who will be on their debt journey for several years to come, but they are part of this thread to pay off a fixed amount of their debt as the support on here is fantastic!
So, if you think you can pay off all your debts by Christmas or have a goal to pay off a certain amount then please join in!

This challenge runs until 27th December 2018.

To help me run this thread easily, could you please all post your totals in large text and in a bold colour and post the amount you have paid off // target amount

It would also be a big help if you could also put with it your challenge number.
i.e. another 50 paid off so now the total paid off for

    #001 is 315.43/7685.67
By the way, don't worry about working out your % paid as I can do that for you!

Morning! I've had a terrible month this month with unplanned day trips and dinners out with people that I really wanted to see but my debt repayments have taken a hit... really going to try and have a quiet November to make up for it!

I'm not going to make the 10k unless I win big! I have separated from my husband so having to pay all the bills. I would have made it if we were still together.

Could I lower mine to 7k, please? That's still a bit to get up to, but I want to feel like I have achieved something in 2018 other than just failed at everything!!

Just checking in to say that I haven't forgotten about this thread or my goal

I've had a lot happen work wise (possibly!) and am rush learning to drive as a consequence. I'm not moving money to my debt until this ends and everything balances out. I will need to buy a car too, and my potential new role's pay increase is unlikely to cover the car expenses.

I am continuing to be frugal though and make money where I can, so I'm confident that money will help buffer the upcoming costs and leave me in the best place I can be to join you all soon.

Well done to everyone continuing to chip away, Sunshine you are so close to 75%!
