I also work off the last page of the advent thread and bookmark what I want to enter, so I agree that maybe we don't need one with the "front" page if nobody wants to to do it, but I would miss not having them all in one place.0

Perhaps just keep this thread going and also one for prizes over £100, unless anyone really really wants to do it.0

I subscribe to the advent threads I want to do.
As long as they're marked as an advent and have the end date just having them on the main board isn't a problem.
It also spreads the load and doesn't rely on one person volunteering to run the Advents board.
I do think the thread for prizes over £100 is worth continuing as it's worked well the last couple of years.0 -

when posting details of comps , if the value is over £100 pounds maybe the poster could put A Value £100 and then comp details - this would mean not specific threads are needed.I am a Senior Ambassador on the Competitions Time Board and the Old Style MoneySaving Board.

I always use the advent thread, however I’d be happy just keeping up with the back of it rather than someone maintaining the first posts.
I comp by end date so even with A: I’d miss them all until the 23rd December if they weren’t grouped in a thread. I already miss lots of comps which don’t get added to the daily thread or which are posted with the overall end date but multiple end dates for draws ending sooner, eg. Weekly comps that run for a month and not posted as new comps each week for the new entry period.
So yeah, mark. This thread advents, move it to main and sticky it at the top and I can live with that :-)0
