Vanquis Credit Card: 4023
No idea whether they are online or offline, but will assume the credit card is offline.
I've been told by both A&L and Halifax that they no longer issue CGC to new customers.0 -

If your Natwest card is NOT a Servicecard (Purple) then it's an Full Authorisation card (Blue).
Vanquis is Off-line as all credit cards are Off-line in the UK.0 -

But HSBC did re-issue my debit card when I switched to there student account in May (Pre student) so that could be offline as well.0 -
Still a bit confused about this A&L Visa debit card, I used it today in M&S and the 'aid' number was: 32010. Now below is the numbers from Dizzle's post saying it's a Visa Debit, but poster Mrs_Ryan say's it's an Electron?
Yes, if it is 000032010 then it is a Visa Debit card if it is 0000321010 then it is a Visa Electron card (don't know any other identifiers other than those two.)0 -

Visa Debit is definitely 31010 while Visa Electron I believe is 321010.
So your Visa Debit is no more than a dressed up Visa Electron like Mrs_Ryan said. Bloody annoying ain't it!!0 -

Sorry, I'm gonna annoy even further here....
00031010 is the identifier for Visa CREDIT cards (so say receipts for both my Visa credit cards)
00032010 is the identifier for Visa DEBIT cards (so says the receipts for my A&L Visa Debit card which I definitely know (and have proven) does not require authentication all the time)
0003201010 is the identifier shown on the (only) receipt I have for my Halifax Visa Electron card (still branded as such and starts 4917).
I have yet to try my Barclays Visa Debit card, hopefully my wages will go into my new account over night tonight.

Ok, now I'm really confused.
OH's Visa Debit card (CGC, BIN 4567) definitely has AID 31010. As do my Cap 1 and Vanquis Visa Credit cards.
My A&L Visa Debit, Halifax Electron and Co-Op (yes, mine is still an Electron!) all say 32010.

Ok, I officially give up then.
I have plastic, they work 99% of the time in 99% of places. :TRemember this: nothing worth doing is easy.0 -
Sorry about this, I used at Tesco a Natwest Visa debit card that's attached to my savings account with them (First Reserve)
It's a Blue coloured card and the 'aid' number 31010:j That's making it an offline Visa card?
I also have a Visa debit attached to an old Cashminder account with the co-op (basic a/c) that is 32010 which makes it an Electron!
My Halifax Visa debit is 31010 making it a Visa debit.
What I'm most confused about is the card with Natwest, as it's on my savings account!!!
Very confused now:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:0 -

If your natwest visa debit card starts 4751 27 or 4751 28 its a full auth visa debit, it wont work for example in a pay pump.Im an ex employee RBS GroupHowever Any Opinion Given On MSE Is Strictly My Own0
