    That's quality.
What I've since done is bid for Asus BDXL writer -in progress via e-bay as I enjoy the idea of copying some purchased discs to rip convert and transfer by myself -push i3 laptop to it;s limits -if possible.
Meanwhile mauybe what I could try is adding this to my iTunes library if I can take myself away from. Ipad 1.05 and switch on laptop.
    Thanks!

Have a thought though that making a duplicate of a blu-ray is definitely not a plug-and-play experience and buying the writer will not make it possible, any more than buying a guitar will make you able to play it.
The blu-ray disks have heavyweight protection on them. There are ways to manage it but be prepared to do a lot of learning. :)

It pretty much is a plug and play experience (well click one button) with the correct software which is readily available. The encryption is trivial to break.

    ..........

Any tips if I'm successful in blue ray writer purchase via e-bay.
What will I need software wise to make a copy of a purchased disc (my home use only)
Is it too difficult to learn

Not difficult initially, but a lot of unnecessary work these days.

I used to utilise Magic DVD Ripper. It's sister product Magic Blu Ray Ripper and Copier would have been my recommendation back then.

Makemkv is what I have used.
It's free while it's in beta, and has been in beta for years.
