Car collection and return by dealer

I've just bought a new car from a main Ford dealer. They offer to collect and return my car free of charge, when it needs a repair under warranty, service etc.
My own comprehensive insurance covers only myself and my wife as a named driver. Is there an industry norm on who takes the risk of accidental damage in such a situation - me or the garage? Haven't thought about this before so what should I be checking?

Your insurance won't cover any garage employee!

They will have their own - nothing to stop you asking for their insurance details before handing over the keys!

(Though even if you delivered the car yourself presumably a garage employee drives it in and out of the workshop and does a test drive in it etc!)

Any 'main dealer' will have a blanket trade insurance covering any employee who's job in any way involves driving a customer's car.
They usually have quite a high excess ( possibly £1000 ) but they would cover this in the event of an accident.
I can't speak for smaller used car dealers and back street garages though.
