Hoping for a bit of advice. I received a geo Minim Electricity Energy Monitor in the post today. My plan was to use it in conjunction with my geo solo PV monitor so I could make the most of my generation without importing. I'm guessin this is useless as it can't detect which direction I'm "flowing" meaning even when I'm exporting it's showing as important. Does this seem right enough? Would like to know before I return it.
    Cheers

Yes, you need a specific microgeneration compatible monitor (wattson solar plus for example).

Finished production at 17:00 with 0.005 kW
Peak production at 12:15 with 2.997 KW

Could do with another 5 days of that and I will be way happy!

Not a bad day overall today, although it did that cloud thing this afternoon.

Still, finished up with a respectable 3.5 O's (13.75 kWh)

  • Solar installed yesterday:-)

End of yesterday the little meter thingy read 0.85.

    Earlier it reads 12.6

    The system is 3.75kw

Is that okay for a nice sunny February?

Yes, No. Doesn't seem to mention solar compatibility, so safe to assume it isn't it.
