    Morning All,

For the 26th January 2017, we had a great total of £644.70 :j

We are doing fantastically so far this month, and I am pleased that once a few direct debits come out I'll finally be able to PAD and contribute before the month ends...

Especially as I had to increase my debt also Sashybo (so I know how it feels), to take into account no income as the JCP stopped all my JSA because I worked part time for 5 weeks (absolutely fair enough), but I gave them all of the information to show that I had finished this temporary role, and they didn't input it into the system and so I had no income at all (I don't qualify for tax credits because of what I earned last tax year). It took over a month to get this sorted, as I have had nothing coming in since Christmas. Also, my housing benefit was reassessed whilst I was working, and despite also telling them that I was no longer working again, they have processed my claim until the end of the tax year (as if I am in employment) and told me that I've been overpaid HB by hundreds. So still trying to sort that out as well - hence the debt once again spirals out of control. I need to get healthy ASAP so that I can work full time, as this limbo feeling is really scary.

Sorry for the rant, but after calling a few times a week for over a month, I was finally told that a payment would reach me today for JSA. But the person I spoke to implied that it was all my fault! (for working on a temporary contract) I don't believe in benefit fraud, but I can see why people are driven to work and claim benefits as the hassle I have just been through, for 5 weeks work at 12 hours a week is just a joke... :(

    Keedie,
    xx

Another £1 to the loan today.

Keedie that sounds like a nightmare. The DWP processes are so slow & over complicated. Hope you're better soon.

At least we're all aware of & working towards reducing our debts (even when we need to temporarily increase them). I think that's a good start. :)
