    I have 3 accounts with Shop direct group, reasonable limits yet 1st time I applied they said 'go away'

    yea, go for it mate - personally, i'd wait a bit and at least prove you're worth the risk by ordering and paying for something first...... :beer:

    What's the big attraction with opening loads of catalogue accounts?

    I'd have thought any more than two catalogues open within a few months, would look a little desperate

    Nope - sorry mate its the opposite effect, green [0]'s from the CRA's show you're a good risk and leads to credit cards.....
