Martin Lewis Builders 20th May 19 at 10:27 PM
    Hi Guys

I need some work doing in and around my property so I'm looking for trusted traders. I came across a website called martinlewisbuilders.co.uk but would like to do some research to find out if this is a legimate site established by Martin Lewis (founder of MSE). I would appreciate some advice as to how I find out who owns this site. It looks professional.

99.9% certain this is a coincidence and nothing to do with MSE Martin. It's a common enough name - stick it in Facebook for example & there's dozens of Martin Lewis's

You can do a WHOIS search to see if that brings up the website owner

A professional website but anyone can pay a few £s to get a website designed.

There is no contact address, no details of any company registration or type of company they are (limited, sole trader etc) and only a mobile phone number.
Because of the lack of details provided, it's not a company I would deal with.

It'll be a scam to persuade gullible people to employ them, thinking they are somehow approved by Martin Lewis.

Pretty sure Martin doesn't count bricklaying as one of his skills....but I may be wrong, he clearly appears to be a man of many talents.

Anyone who genuinely thinks this is somebody pretending that their bricklaying business is connected to the Martin Lewis off the telly really should get a grown up to help them get their wall built.

It's always best to ask around for recommendations when having any such work done in the home. Remember, usually decent workers shouldn't be able to start straight away, if they are good, they will be booked up sometimes for months ahead, but usually worth waiting for.
The bigger the bargain, the better I feel.

I should mention that there's only one of me, don't confuse me with others of the same name.
