Not paying for water

Options
Hi all,

Basically me and my partner moved into a new build July 2017 since then we have received no water bills, I thought it might be annual so waiting and then called them when I received nothing. They informed me that a meter was mistakenly not fitted to the property after abit of research.

I was worried I’d receive a bill for this period and they said they would send me a later to state the plan, I received a letter saying I wouldn’t be expected to pay any bills until a meter is fitted etc. This was over 6 months ago now and I’m unsure whether I should do anything about this myself or is it now in their hands as Iv called them and have the literature to prove so???

Any advice would be appreciated

    Welcome to the forum.

Are they correct that a meter is not fitted?

If you have a letter, the the next move is up to them.
