Virgin Bundle Deal - Please Help :)

Please could you lovely people help. I have just received a letter through the post stating that from April 1st 2012 I will have my contract increased by £3.50.

Current Plan & Prices:

TV: XL
Phone: XL
Broadband : L
Tivo 500gb Box
Current Price: £50.90 (will increase to £54.40 in April)

Is this a reasonable price to pay for the above package and if not what price would you 'experts' deem fair and reasonable? I have been a Virgin Media customer for 5 YEARS!!

I will be very grateful for any replies, I'm really stuck on what to do.

Many, many thanks

I got an email stating the same, but I'm sure this will be on your letter somewhere as in my email.

Legal stuff applies. *Fastest broadband download speeds widely available to consumers according to 2009-2011 Ofcom reports. 1. Sky £7.50 service not traffic-managed. 3. Up to 10 phone calls per day, from your Virgin Phone. 4. Excludes misuse/mistreatment. If you do not wish to be bound by these changes you can cancel your contract with us without penalty. The process to be followed is set out in our terms and conditions at virginmedia.com/legalstuff

  • Doesn't seem too bad actually I've got XL TV, XL BB & XL phone with multiroom along with VM HD+ & VM HD as my 2 boxes no Tivo & currently pay £73 increasing to £77.50 come April. I'm cancelling on March 1st & hopeful of getting a better deal!

Have you been told you have to wait till 1st March to cancel as price rise in happening on 1st April. If so, you can cancel your contract immediately.

yeah I phoned up a fortnight back to show my displeasure at the imminent price rise and was told I could cancel on the 1st March & there was no deal for me. So I shall be cancelling 1st March to begin a game of cat & mouse :T

People should complain about these extortionate price increases.

My cost is going up by over £3.50/month.
