No potting today, but I do have a lovely star, thanks to you Sue! :staradmin

In other news, I've asked to step back to part-time working. Full time is just too much at the moment and I need to get back to full speed. I thought I was getting there, but full time is simply too much. :(

Anyway, enough about my woes. Found 20p as I was trying to rescue a pen from underneath the cushion on the sofa. Rescued it and duly potted it!

    Night all.

Morning all, can I join in please?!

I actually started three jars last night before I read this post this morning.... Must have been fate!

    I have a £2 and £1 jar, a silver jar, and a coppers and 5p's jar :)

For this past year I've used a jar with a lid, which I know DH has been 'dipping' from! Managed to save up over £180 though, even with him taking stuff lol!

What I won't be telling him this year is that I'm putting notes into the £2/£1 jar.... Can't wait til next year to open it!!

Very well done, Thrice, far better to keep things to yourself! :shhh: BTW, you're one of us now, and in which case your last year's savings can be declared and included on SPC 11 HERE.

Perfectly put, siju! :D Very many thanks for a really lovely welcome to Thrice which earn you a gold star. :staradmin

Good afternoon all Sealed Potters! I hope you're having a good Tuesday!
To all those who aren't well in any way, I hope you're soon feeling much, much better very soon! For now, here's love and {{{{hugs}}}} from us all especially to YOU!! :grinheart

Yesterday or today makes little difference, 32b3, so long as it's in your pot that's all that matters! Very well done.

You're right in that everyone is off to a good start, even more than that, everyone's so motivated and obviously motivating us all which is amazing!!! :j

The star was well-deserved, Vicky. :D

Don't worry about any woes you may be having, your confiding in your SPC family which is lovely and trusting, though I truly do wish you didn't have the problem/s. It's far better to admit to yourself that you're not yet up to scratch and give in to it. Have some more rest and "you time" Vicky, enjoy doing something you're interested in. If it's the same problem as last year then it's YOU who must come first in order to get well. :kisses3: Keep chatting to us as it's so good to have you back in the family! ;)

    Enjoy your Tuesday, folks.
    Sue

Evening Sue and fellow potters!

It’s been less than a week since starting SPC12 and yet it just fills me with warm fuzzies reading all the lovely and supportive posts on here! :D

Last few days haven’t been that good for the pot - only had 55p to pot today (change from grocery shopping). Having a sort out in the living room tomorrow though, which will include pulling out and vacuuming under all the furniture - fingers crossed for some lonely coins in need of a good home!!

Have also been keeping my eyes peeled on my journeys for any roadkill but no such luck. Used to find quite a bit. Does make me wonder whether there’s a fellow Devon potter just one step ahead of me...:rotfl:

A lovely evening to all!
Beware of little expenses. A small leak will sink a great ship.

    Emergency fund £268.63 / £1000

Crikey Thrice! You're the first member who has ever gone to the lengths of printing off the 1st post, excellent work, though I see why you do so. I've just been chatting to you on SPC 11 so all's good. :D See you soon and happy potting!

Hi to you, browneyed_girl! From the hightlighted paragraph above, you have all the symptoms of addiction! It's even pushing you to have a spring-clean in autumn!! :j Excellent! :D
You can be proud of the 55p potted, it's not bad at all in these days of so many plasctic cards, that can also be the reason for less roadkill, but don't let that stop you as folk definitely do still drop cash! Fingers crossed. Though in Devon, yes, you have competition from a few other members! Also, living in Somerset I'm inclined to creep across the boarder looking for "droppings"! A very good evening to you also, what's left of it. :D

Have a good Wednesday, SPCers though possibly a wet one.
    Sue
