So on this H-fax thing - do you still qualify for the £5 even if you have an existing account? Do you just transfer £750 from your joint account and then two DD's have to go out? Sorry if I'm asking the obvious!

SJ, over the past 4 days I've read your diary from cover to cover and am so motivated by it! It will be along time before I can hit the mortgage hard, but I'm definitely adding it after this 2 year plan (which is to be DF) then start overpaying our mortgage. We already OP £30 a month plus TTs which should knock 2 years and 5 months off our initial mortgage, but I can't wait for the day we can make significant OPs.

I've stolen some of your ideas (hope you don't mind) like colouring in the bricks and a spreadsheet of daily interest....we've only had the mortgage 6 months but it's exciting to see the difference so far!

Congrats on littlest SJ also, I imagine it's like you were never without her, but seems like yesterday it happened to me (probably because that's when I read your news :rotfl:)

Looking forward to seeing your figures, and you getting into the £110ks!

Just catching up and hope all well in your world and you had a good break away. Any TT withdrawal symptoms or did wi-fi come good? :D

Well done on interest in the £199s and £27 reduction for the year - very good going indeed :T

Ali - thanks for the catch up and the timely reminder that i've been lax this weekend since coming back from our "wet" break!

Fortunately i've kept up with TT's, and yesterday OP'd £6.92 for the weekly TT pot, which i can proudly say is one days worth of interest for the month (with a few pence change too)!

Mid month slump, so just waiting for pay day in 7 days which then signals paying out day and money shuffle time!

I had hoped to clear 2 bricks this month but i may fall short by about £50. Although there is great temptation to just make an extra OP we need any spare money to start the yearly jobs (patio re-grouting, gutters fixing, oven cleaner in, new flooring in downstairs toilet etc... So the second brick will have to wait till May (but i'll defo get 2 in May...he says...).

Very little financials to report. TT'd 3 x £1 so far this week, but seem to have had lots of those annoying expenditures like toast money at school, beaver's subs, and then spends on house things.

Been busy trying to get house back under control, and with weather improving and baby SJ getting to 12 weeks it really feels like we can emerge again!

Just mentally preparing for the house jobs to start - guttering or patio grouting being priorities!

    Car Insurance Carver!
Hey SJ, I am in the same place needing to focus on outside things at the mo, as soon as the nights start to get lighter its a good time! Loving the lighter nights! Would you recommend a caravan? I am deliberating buying a cheapy one that I may just use as an office garden initially but do it up over time to maybe start camping!

Caravans are fantastic but I confess to cheating! Ours is a family static so other than cleaning up after ourselves we have very little to do with it!

Another round shiny £1 TT'd today. Payday can't come soon enough now but it'll be a long wiat till Monday!

Makes me smile we are all so desperate for payday, not to spend, but to fling it all at debt!
