Why have you attached me to a shamed idiot and an alcoholic fool?

Perhaps the implication is that you are an alcoholic idiot (just not a shamed foolish one!);)

I quite enjoyed Jeffrey Archer's books - wasn't really interested in his private life - although I do understand that he came from a rather 'dubious' background.

If Kieth Floyd was, or even still is, an alcoholic fool, he was the type of 'fool' that I would suffer gladly. He opened a pub/restaurant, got fleeced by the brewers and the Inland Revenue. I remember him saying, on 'Parkinson' that the only people who suffered as a result of his bankruptcy were the Vatman and the Taxman, who were extremely unlikely to win the public sympathy vote.

I accept, in a way, that these two examples were possibly more INFAMOUS than FAMOUS - but I meant no offence in putting your name next to theirs.
I am NOT, nor do I profess to be, a Qualified Debt Adviser. I have made MANY mistakes and have OFTEN been the unwitting victim of the the shamefull tactics of the Financial Industry.
If any of my experiences, or the knowledge that I have gained from those experiences, can help anyone who finds themselves in similar circumstances, then my experiences have not been in vain.

    Yes it's real I'm afraid.

I didn't know Alan Sugar had been made bankrupt. He didn't show much sympathy for the apprentice who had been made bankrupt last week!

Mind he was a total idiot!!! I'd have fired him too.
