I spotted pregnancy tests in 'The 99p Shop' in Sheffield a few days ago.

It's the best shop ever, incidentally!! But yeah, preg tests. Not sure I'd trust one so cheap though... probably would spend just as much doing the test 15 times to believe it!!

These were in the York Savers June 2004. I popped out in my lunch break to get one and as Savers is the other side of town and I knew I wouldn't be spotted. For 99p there were 3 tests in the box. I must admit when the first one was positive I did the other two as I too couldn't trust anything so cheap, but it correct and now I have a lovely 5 month old little girl!

I agree with that.....even the expensive ones I end up using 3 or 4 to make sure its right....lol.....I haven't found any of these yet but will look tomorrow....best price I got was also savers and paid 5.99 ish for a pack of 3 predictors....much cheaper than tescos.

poundland have 2 in a box for - yes you guessed it 1 - they were actually on the checkout desk! they are the 25mmu ones which are supposed to be fairly sensitive in detection!

Yep, you can. Ovarian cysts can cause odd HCG readings, thus false positive results...
