Wow a whole extra 1 point for every 4 spent for the next 4 months.

How can anyone refuse such a generous offer?

My phone is too old to download the Pay+ app so does that mean I won't be able to use it anymore?

I just emailed them and they said it would only work on Android 4.4 or later versions so I won't be able to use it. I have an S3 mini which is not even 3 years old.

Android Pay, and presumably the iThing's equivalent, can store loyalty cards.

Tesco Pay+ doesn't have very much to offer me, especially as it doesn't allow punters to add a re-loadable Tesco gift card for payment, which I have and top up with a 4% discount.
