    oooooOOOH!
    Now you are talking!

Tariffs are as good (or better) than Tello, it is piggybacking on EE

After the first moth need to be topped up £5 a month, for a low user- steal, I believe!

Wander though, will they last? (started Sep 2016)

If you’re an existing 1pMobile customer, make sure you join our free ‘Refer a friend’ scheme from within your online account.
When you refer someone and they join 1pMobile, and either purchase or apply their second top-up, you'll earn a £5 reward.
Your rewards will be allocated to your account as top-ups you can use on your phone, so just one customer a month could mean free mobile usage forever.
However, if you have surplus rewards in your account, once a month you can choose to have them paid into your bank account as cash.

How is £5 a month a steal for a low user?

    Don't think 1p mobile.

    Think £5 month minimum mobile

That's not as interesting though !
  • On the face of it, they look OK. Not looked into the small print, so tread carefully. As others have mentioned it's a £5 per month deal, so for regular use without a credit check or contract, it isn't bad.

The cheapest deal for irregular use is Three and their 321 pay as you go (3p per min, 2p per text, 1p per MB), as it doesn't expire provided you make a call every month or two.

I had to pay out £5 per month (which I do), I would much rather go with a SIM only deal with plusnet £5 or virgin £6 where you get a certain number of minutes. ~250/300, TXT's and data all included.

If you go over your allowance, calls are expensive, but you should choose the right package for yourself, and it's easy to change.

£5 would give you 500 mins (£0.01p per minute)

    Valid point.

Do TXT's cost 1p too ? (virgins are unlimited)
And you get 1Gb of data with plusnet or 300+Mb with virgin.

What does the OP require ?

I believe OP, was after opinion, maybe even exposure...

I personally love those plain simple plans- value, without some daft retentions, cash-backs, deal packages, small prints etc..

This, new network will suit many, if all as in service would be proven as acceptable. IE somebody wants SIM for a kid and to keep taps on , spending etc, £5 a month would cover it and that I believe would be good, scam risk free option  ("premium" pay by phone garbage that OFCOM allows still :( )

If you want value there is 3's 321 plan and
    vectone (uses EE network)

These are very much value for money and honest unlike an advert which says 1p per minute, and in small print. minimum spend £5 per month.

How much do txt's cost ?

They are OK, *3* although not perfect for the coverage and costs "potentially" x3 times more
    3p a minute, 2p a text and 1p a MB of data,

... Vectone - have been with- never again!

We aught to agree to disagree on this

500 minutes, texts or MB(data) for just £5 a month.
Want more? UK calls 1p a minute, texts 1p each, data 1p a MB.
All unused credit over £5 rolls over.
    Simple, honest, fair.
