    Official MSE Insert:

Thanks to Grimbal for starting this thread, where compulsive Rightmove browsers share their funniest finds. Scroll down for Playboy mansions, unusual extensions, toilets in wardrobes and mysterious presences under bedcovers.

    Back to the original post...

Thought I'd start off a new thread as the other one was getting to be pretty long. The old thread can be found here.

How about starting up a thread dedicated to the interesting properties that we come across in our searches ?

I'm guessing these guys don't invite their granny over to watch TV

Pics 18 & 19 also feature loo rolls Asking price of 5000, and already STC. Wonder what it sold for?

During the course of looking for a property, I learned that horsey people are to be avoided at all costs, especially horsey people who haven't enough money to be properly horsey in the first place.

This one is a good example of why I felt like that:

Of course, when I actually bought a property, it was from.....err......horsey people!

"Now look Mabel, we just can't afford to build a two storey extension at the moment. We either have to save up more money to get both floors or build one storey now and when we've got the money, add the other one later. You decide."

Come on people, it's not difficult: lose means to be unable to find, loose means not being fixed in place. So if you have a hole in your pocket you might lose your loose change.

    How not to "show home"

    http://www.rightmove.co.uk/new-homes-for-sale/property-42123861.html

Clearly photoshoped so why they chose to clutter it up with hideous junk I do not know.

Hubbie thinks they gave the job to the intern

Still receiving EA updates on properties from move a couple of years back.

So - had the Zoopla stuff through again this morning and they've now introduced a webpage with "extreme DIY" project houses - ie where they show you photos and tell you work needing doing on them.

Of course - I did notice there was still a downplay of level to be done. I dont somehow think that a room with wallpaper peeling up the first couple of feet from the skirting board is "just" going to need decorating somehow

Opportunities may be missed, especially when they arrive disguised as hard work.

Seriously, you've looked at that ghastly collection of wallpapers and all you can comment on is the table?

The paper in the sitting room reminds me of "the scream".
I am wondering how they watch that tv in the dining room.

I think that kitchen is brilliant actually, if I bought it I'd want to replace appliances and build out the units but would definitely keep the look!
