    ESA50 Waiting Times 19th Apr 15 at 2:14 PM
I received an ESA50 I had to fill in and have duly done so complete with a stack of medical reports. Does anyone know how long it takes to hear whether you have been successful or need a medical etc?

I found out 3 weeks later when I had sent an additional document to ATOS then called to check it had been added to file. I knew it had been delivered as had done a signed for postulate service. When I called they told me that they had already made a decision and sent file back to DWP. It then took DWP a further 6 weeks to tell me. Again after a call. The letter arrived at week 13 of my claim.

Thank you for the info. Not going to be a quick turnaround then!

However I was less stresses once I knew it had been returned to DWP at week 3 without a medical as knew that was almost certainly going to be a recommendation of straight into the support group.

I have heard of many people staying in assessment phase for close on a year as waiting for medical.

I send all documents signed for with DWP!
