Hi all, haven't seen this anywhere else and don't think it belongs in the Christmas one so here goes!

Just been to my local store and they have 2 trollies full of discounted items, plenty of each including:

Dog misfit biscuits 69p various different ones
Lucozade 1L both original and Orange 50p!!!
    Ribena small bottles 39p
Ambipur 3volution 3.99 - including the plug in and a freshener
Single ambi pur plug ins 2.00
    Small red pan - 2.99
Curtain tie backs 1.50 - single tie back with beads
    Small pink photo frames 1.00
Regina Kitchen Roll - didnt see the price as someone was just taking the last 3!

needless to say i stocked up on the bits we go through in my house

Don't know if its nationwide or local but worth trying

    HTH someone

I take it this isn't online also? We don't have a Wilko store here in N.Ireland, but I love going in every time I visit relatives over in England. Spent a fortune there just before Christmas

Got an unexpected bargain in Stratford (E15) today: a gingerbread house cutter set (9 pieces in total) for just 50p! It's not the house cutter I was interested in, but the other Christmassy-shaped cutters which are great for biscuits. For 50p I can't grumble.

I was thinking the same thing it was before this time last year. But the wilkos sales are not as good as the past, and the website doesn't even do the toy sale anymore I'm glad a got to the boots one last week

Wilko at Chelmsley Wood had a lot more 'new' stock by the Customer Service desk all with 75% off originally 2.00. Hello kitty torch things, disney noisy pretend keys and some Wilko own brand girls make up (lip gloss and nail varnish with a use by date of June this year).

Diaries and calenders were further reduced to 10p - 50p but all other xmas items the same. Did notice some of the toys that were half price have just gone back to the normal toy shelves at full price.

Same at mine, I give up, I did notice some toys had around 75% off but not shown just a normal white label (Minnie Mouse toy 1 a game for 5 but nothing worth a trip out for) strange way of doing sales

Maybe there is not going to be any further reductions, the sale bit is getting smaller and smaller everytime I go, there will be nothing left by next week

If anybody is into wallpapering at the moment, my local Wilkinsons (Gloucester) has got packs of two rolls of paper for 2 the pair. In the clearance section by the paints and wallpapers. Obviously not enough for a whole room, but great for a cheap 'accent' wall. Some lovely patterns, I thought - but going fast!

    DIY & Decorating reductions
My store (Louth) tell me they are expecting new displays (probably packaging too) and decorating /DIY items next week and they have "DIY Sale" thingies hanging from the ceiling! I suspect this is a rolling programme through out the stores.
For example: Anti splatter roller set 1- was at least 5
    paint pad set 2
    mini roller set 75 pence
    Some International paints @1
Lots of oddments in plumbing & DIY- Different cupboard door handles, replacement tap tops- just assorted items. Some are 10 pence, others are 10% of original price.
Maybe not happening in your local store- yet!
    Worth watching
Being polite and pleasant doesn't cost anything!

    Many thanks
