    It's impossible for the site to be charging you, it's only just taking preregistrations.

    The Telegraph says that noddle will be funded through a partnership with a "price-comparison website"

    Anybody got any ideas?

    Also from here;

    See Noddle's news page. They will offer products that appear suitable based on your credit report. That seems like a potentially useful service for those who are uncertain about how well they will do on applications, provided it's reasonably accurate, a potential problem given the limited data that Call Credit has. Noddle will presumably get the usual referral fees and make money that way.

    I registered in the morning, and received an email just this hour confirming it.

    Moneysupermarket's smart search seem to have ties with Callcredit, and it provided a nice way of checking your overall (rough) credit status. Perhaps they are those partners. Even if from the least used CRA, free access to full credit files is not something I would ignore...
    Enjoy the silence...

    Annual Credit Report does now charge a once only setup fee of 5 though. For anyone who needs a report before September that makes the 2 to get a statutory credit report from Call Credit a better buy. Still free for those who signed up before the signup fee was introduced.

    Callcredit's size
    Callcredit may be slightly smaller in terms of turnover than Equifax, (but catching fast and may be higher by the end of the year, or so I'm told!) but the financial data they hold is the same as both Experian and Equifax. The key is that they don't have the same search footprints from lenders as those guys.

    So... if you want to see the current state of your credit file Noddle is the way to go - because it will be the same for all the agencies (except in some extreme cases, in which case any one agency may be more accurate than the other two).

    But, if you want to see who is searching your credit file, stick with the others - most especially Experian, which has about 70% of the search footprint market.
