Grr! We couldn't start the switch until today when we completed on our house purchase, now quidco/topcashback 80 extra cashback has vanished :-( will have to crunch the numbers again to see if a switch to EDF is worth it or whether we are better off with someone who doesn't charge extra for IGT gas.

Yes saw Cash Back had gone on TCB, must be costing them to much, or they have reached the number of new customers required!

A good deal for the customer means a bad deal for the supplier.

It's just rather bad form to extend the 100 Welcome Bonus to 31st December, then pulling it now.

I'm happy, I got a letter from EDF recently saying they aren't increasing their prices. Makes a change!

I suppose that the real end date for this was 30 November and so even a one week extension was more than they had to do.

Hopefully people won't be too dismayed as it isn't that brilliant a deal when you look at the standing charges on this. Let's just say I need both the 80 Quidco and 100 EDF cashbacks to make it worthwhile.

And they WILL be increasing charges come March.....

The Standing charge is excessive but they are the second cheapest before cashback. Anyone know when the 100 will be credited to my account ?

For me the cashback had to be both the 100 and the 80 for it to be worthwhile. It looks like many will have to put in enquiries for the quidco 80 as they have a tracking issue.

I had the email immediately and a letter a week later. I'd give them a call if I were you.
