Excuse me, but we're in January: how is not having booked yet or not booking it within the next few weeks being "late"?

To do late bookings is to book it within 3 weeks of going, not 5 months!

I am not having a summer holiday due to the nature of my job, but I have already been on holiday this year as I went to Ireland

    Two answers for me:

The big family holiday (myself, my boyfriend, my parents, my sisters, my brothers in law and my nephew) has been booked since last June as we wanted to get the same place again.

The boyfriend and I have discussed ideas for where we might go in spring/late summer/early autumn, but nothing is booked yet as we're not sure where we are with regards to my job at the moment.

we're doing the sun 9.50 holiday this year - never done it before, hope it's okay - with 2 v small children and a big chunk of maternity leave, it's the only way we'll afford a holiday this year!!!

We have our holiday at Easter, rather than the summer, booked last May for this Easter - usually book about a year before as no flexibilty with dates if we want full fortnight.
(I work in a school (not a teacher) as we can only go in school holidays)

Hoping to book soon and take the kids (25, 21, 21) to France in August as it will probably be the last time we can all go away together.

We booked our early summer holiday (May) a couple of weeks ago to take advantage of a discounted rate that was due to expire.

We'll hopefully get away again later in the year, dependant on if we can get the flights cheap enough.

We are a couple with no kids.

Admittedly though they started taking separate holidays when they were about 17 and it only came back around to the big family holiday once my nephew (who'll be 3 in September) was born.

I am going on holiday with my wife and parents this year. It is the first time I am spending it with my parents for about 7/9 years- I am now 29. We all get along, but the holiday environment could be a test! All booked and raring to go!

Last September we (couple, no kids) booked to go to Tunisia in June this year. First time we've booked so far in advance - waiting is torture!

I've got 2 weekend breaks booked next month, one in Dublin and one in Barcelona. Im also going to Iceland for a week in March. Can't wait to be honest. We'll probably book a few trips later in the year but nothing is finalised yet.

I went to Tunisia last year, had a good time. It's nice and hot, the beaches are nice and it's fairly relaxing. There isn't much to 'do' there as such, but if you enjoy a nice beach holiday it's the perfect location.
