Help - Lloyds Bank is chasing me for somebody else's debt
I'm actually posting on behalf of a work colleague. He is being chased by a collection agency for a debt owed to Lloyds Bank by somebody else who happens to have the same name. What should be his first course of action? Is his credit ref affected? Would be grateful for suggestions, thanks in advance.

I avoided getting a credit card for many years, but the need to build up a credit history (for a mortgage etc in future) lead me to open one early last year. In the first month I paid a few online bookies using it, incurring £30 of charges before I noticed (rookie mistake) but have paid the balance in full every month and…

MODA - NEW database shares customers finances in real time
Anyone heard of MODA? Call Credits new database that shares customer's credit / financial information in real time. I wonder how quickly financial information is shared? My debts don't appear on my Experian credit file
Hi all, I have a number of unsecured debts and phone contracts that resulted from me giving up my business at the start of 2009 to take care of my parents who both have dementia. Address issues on credit file (or not?)
Hi all, I've moved house, and my new address is on the fringe of 2 towns.
