Are outgoing mobile providers allowed to contact you after you have started port away ?
Are outgoing mobile providers allowed to contact you after you have started port away or even after you requested PAC? I seem to remember that OFCOM brought in rules against this. Sky called me twice and then sent me text. I have started the port which should go through early next week. I would not be that bothered if it…

My RWG SIM with the 10GB monthly data (£60/year) is working fine, connected to 4G pretty much constantly. My wife's however seems to drop out all the time, is falls back to a 2G signal constantly and ends up after briefly attempting to use EDGE eventually gives up with no data being possible. SMS and calls fine. When the…

Vodafone Switch out and then return as new customer
Vodafone SIM-only deal is due to end soon. The upgrade deals offered are not that competitive compared to what I can get as a 'new' customer but Vodafone don't allow switching your existing number to a new Vodafone contract. So, am wondering if it's ok to temporarily switch to a new provider and then switch back to the new…

The ID Mobile speeds are dreadful. Sometimes I get less than 1Megabit per second. Any ideas ? Phone is a iPhone 11 and with EE my speeds were always above…

Anyone had any success complaining to O2?
I won't give all the background because I'm so stressed but I have been emailing, phoning and writing letters (recorded delivery) to O2 since February this year about a debt that I do not owe and they have now referred me to a debt recovery service! Communication ombudsman won't touch it yet because I'm not quite into 8…

Lebara porting issues
Hi there. I wondered if anyone has experience of what I am currently up against. My son had an Apple Watch cellular with a number on the Truphone network, worked flawlessly for over a year. He now has a phone and we obtained a PAC code to port the number from Truphone to Lebara. Number should have ported 01/03/24 but we…

Replacing an Old IPhone
Hello. Don’t know if anyone can help. I’ve had a hand me down IPhone 6s for about 5 years now and has suddenly started losing power really fast. As it’s such an old model I think just replacing battery won’t do much. I can’t really afford a new IPhone and I don’t trust refurbished ones. What is the cheapest older model…

IMO Q4 battery - miss selling?
MSE recommended this mobile and it met my needs, and that of my family, so I bought three. One key feature was the ability to change the battery.I have recently tried to buy a new battery. Tesco, where I purchased the phones, says it does not sell these batteries. So I searched the web with no luck. None of the specialist…

Just a few comments on the Talk Home SIM deal I signed my wife up to last month. Brilliant deal a 1p per month for the first 3 months. This morning at 10.30am, I received an email from Sky Mobile in which it advised of prices rises for those customers who are not on a current fixed term contract and a reduction in the Data Rollover period from 3 years to 1 year. Hi there. My old phones had either a fingerprint sensor on the side or the back but now modern phones seem to have them on the screen.
